BOOKING LEADS
This is another feature of Traveller that allows you to record how your customer has heard about you and from where your business is generated. This can be used within the mail shot system to specifically target customers. As with the special interest groups the codes require setting up in the master files first.
To set this up go to:
File -> Masterfile Maintenance
Booking Leads
Once this has been completed you need to enable the facility to enter the code. To do this:
From the main Traveller menu –
Options/tools -> Global options -> Client tab
Place a tick in the use booking lead field and place a tick if the field is mandatory
Ok the screen
Once this has been completed when you generate a new customer a booking lead field will appear in the client header. In addition you will be able to amend an existing client header to accommodate the new information. When you wish to run a mail shot access the mail shot screen and you will then see an additional tab within the criteria set up allowing you to run this function against your booking leads.
