Management and Transaction Fees
(Costs and Fees)
Traveller has a facility to allow the automatic creation of a Fee to each and any transaction. Each transaction can have as many different types of fees and can be split into set values or percentages.
The following pages explain how to set up the fee and how then to apply.
If your agency has a set menu of charges and you are interested in configuring Traveller to automatically generate transactions, and would like more information than this overview gives, then training days may be booked by emailing UKTravel-Support@micros.com.
The setting up of fees.
To access the default cost and fees screen, please see the below diagram.

The default cost and fees are the fees, which apply to all account credit customers and retail clients.
If you enter into this option, the following screen will appear.

You are required to enter the operator that will be used to automatically apply the fee (if your client is a transaction fee based client).
You are also required to enter a discount code that will be used if you were to rebate the commission.
The nominal code needs to be filled in. but this is more just a reference
You are now able to select what fee is to be applied to each transactions type.
To set up a new fee: -

Once you have entered the entire information click on "Save" and this entry will be displayed above.
Each entry will be given an ID number; this ID number can be entered into the PNR if you are downloading from the CRS platforms. Remember, this can only be applied for BSP only.
Setting up Sales Account Cost and Fees.
Entering into this option allows the agent to apply particular fee to a particular client. This fee then will only be displayed in addition to the default fees set-up. The sales accounts will be displayed on the screen. To enter the information you will need to select the appropriate sales account customer and then complete the screen as for the default costs and fees.
Set Fee Types
This option allows the agent to select if the account customer is a transaction or management fee customer. If the flag is blank then no fee will be applied. To change the customer select the "Change" option.
The CRS payment type – this can be ignored.
Turning on the Fees
In Global Options, there is a cost and fees tab

Selecting "Check cost and fees" will apply fees to all account customers
Selecting "Apply retail fees" will apply fees to retail clients
Fees date – when you want to apply fees from.
