There is a facility within Traveller to label customers with certain interests thus enabling you to run a mailshot highlighting a particular group. Eg. Golfers, bridge players.
To set up this facility each interest code and description has to be entered within the masterfiles:
File -> Masterfile Maintenance -> Special Interest GroupsEnter the code of your choice
Enter the description
Save the information
To label a customer with a particular interest:
Within the client file – go to client options
Within this screen there is a box for special interests
Click on new
Enter the appropriate code and save the information
When you go to the mailshot criteria screen as detailed on pages 31-34 there is a tab labelled special interest groups. This area will allow you to select which group(s) you would like to mailshot.
