Firstly you need to access the document designer from the Tools menu and click
on the mailshot option. Set up the text of the letter. On completion of this
go to file diary/letters/mailshot. Enter the appropriate criteria. Click on
report all. A report will generate showing the customer details that meet with
the criteria and can be printed. If you are happy with the customers that appear
on the report close the report and select print mailshot. However if you wish
to delete some of the customers from the list choose report selected. A further
report will appear and against each of the names there will be a tick. Untick
the customer(s) that you do not want the mailshot to go to. Click on mail selected
and choose one of the options. Following completion of the mailshot there is
a tab that can be activated within the client file to show the mailshots that
a customer has received. To enable this you should go to options/tools, options
and then client. Place a tick in the appropriate box. In addition within file/diary/letters/mailshot/mailshot
history there is the facility to enter a date criteria which will then produce
a report that will show all the mailshots sent within the dates selected. There
is more documentation available for the mailshot within the advance user manual.
