
Locked in a client file?

If you are attempting to retrieve a customer file within Traveller and a message appears ‘you already have this client locked – do you want to continue’ you need to answer yes. This will allow you back into the file. Once you have finished exit the file using the exit button at each stage. This will clear the locking.
If you are trying to access a client file within Traveller and a message appears ‘already in use by user ??? (colleagues user log in) the person who has the client file locked will need to go into Traveller, retrieve the customer file themselves which will show the message as detailed in item 1 and then exit from the file as stated above. This procedure will then allow you access.
If a locking message appears when trying to access administration areas eg. banking, letter run, diary etc please use the following procedure.
From the main menu of Traveller go
to options/tools > clear concordance lock
You will see a tick against the appropriate area. There is a box labelled ‘unlock’
to the right of the screen. Place a tick in the box and OK the screen. This
will clear the lock and you should be able to continue with the administration
duties.
