***THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT***
If you are the Head Office of a multi branch organisation using Central Link, this must be done on the Central Link PC, which sends out master files to the branches.
If you are using the CRS download facility, all the CRS download Q's will be cleared. Please ensure that all PNR's have been processed before loading this release.
Please also ensure that if Sabs downloading is enabled that the SABS queue is empty, the queue WILL be overwritten during this procedure.
1) Ensure that all users are out of the Traveller system. This can be checked on Terminal Services by using the client manager.
2) If you have a CRS download and are using the Passport program, please ensure that this program is not running, this can be checked by locating the computer that has Passport loaded. Passport is identified by a green diamond near the clock in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. To close Passport down, double click on the green diamond, which will maximize the Passport program, using your mouse click on the exit button, which is identified by the exit door.
3) Insert the CD face up into the TERMINAL SERVER ONLY. The install program should start automatically, if it does not, click on the START button in the bottom left of the screen, select RUN and type in D:/SETUPSRV (Where D: = the CD-Drive of the set involved)

The following screen will appear

Select the first option to amend the structure of the data files used by Traveller. If there are any problems, you must abort the upgrade and report the problem to the Micros|Travel Support team in the normal manner. You will be conctacted at the first possible chance please avoid using traveller until one of our team members contacts you.
We have tested the update process on a variety of databases ranging from 200mb to 2gig, the amount of time to update is variable dependant on the following aspects.
It may be more desirable to run the update out of working hours, if you are at all unsure about running the update process then it is advisable you contact your own IT department or speak to the Micros|Travel support desk.
Once the first section of the update is complete you may move onto the second part of the installation. This section of the upgrade is only variable on the speed of the hardware and normally takes around 5 – 10 minutes.
The screens that follow are very simple and require no configuration changes for the standard user, follow the on screen instructions until the application reports the installation complete.
**IMPORTANT**
If there are any problems, you must abort the upgrade and report the problem to the Micros|Travel support team in the normal manner. You may be able to enable users back into Traveller in the meantime.
4) Once both sections are complete you will need to run Traveller on the Terminal Server just once, when you enter Traveller the version displayed in Help -> About should equal the new version you have just installed. If it does not, you can try to copy the file manually, or contact Micros|Travel support.
Your new version of Traveller is installed on the Terminal-server and all Traveller computers will now use that version.
To make sure, check each computer by loading Traveller, clicking Help-About and checking it against the version number below.
Once you have successfully installed the new version of Traveller, please e-mail support to let them know so we can update our system. The new correct support e-mail address is UKTravel-Support@micros.com
