Traveller - To change the VAT from 17.5% to 20.0% as from the 1st January 2011.

Go into:

- File / System Utilities / Branch Details

OR

- File / System Utilities / Company detail maintenance

Within the Branch Details Maintenance screen, click into Page 2, and at the bottom left hand corner you'll see 5 VAT rate fields.

High-light field number 2, and manually amend the 17.5% to 20%

Within the Company Detail Maintenance / (departmental) Branch Maintenance screen, select a Department, press AMEND, then click on VAT RATES page to amend the rate to 20%.

You will need to complete this process for each Department / Branch.

Press OK to save the changes, and then press exit to exit from the maintenance screen.

If you then go to File / Masterfile Maintenance / Operators / Operator Details. Within the Commission Rates screen, the system VAT codes will automatically be set with the new VAT rate.
