To aid in the administration of the diary a new utility has been created, its aim is to help the user whittle down the unneeded results the diary can quite often return. To access this utility select Options from the main Traveller menu, then Check Balance Due.

The options available are explained below.

a) Check balance due against history :This option runs a check against every single transaction in the system, basically ensuring that Total Value of Transaction equals the (amount collected + the amount due) – the discount. Any records which fail this check are returned.

b) Check tickets due from operator and balance due :This option will check transactions which are due to appear on the diary, and attempt to locate ones which will appear both in BDC (Balance Due from Client) and TDO (Tickets Due from Operator). These bookings are returned to the user.

c) Amend balance due based on history :Runs the same check as option (a) except will adjust the amount due from the client based on it's findings, this option will make changes to the database, any records which were on the diary when the full balance had been collected will be removed.

d) Amend tickets due from operator and balance due : Runs the same check as option (b) and adjusts those bookings at TDO to be BDC, this option will change the records in the database, any records which would have appeared twice will now only appear under BDC.
