6827 Introduces a number of enhancements to the Original Quickfee system introduced in 6821. These changes are to enable users to go beyond the original limitations of stand alone charges, what the Quickfee system was designed for.
VAT on quickfees is quite simple to configure. By navigating File -> System Utilities -> Costs and Fees -> Quick Fees (Shown Below) You will be presented with the Quickfee configuration screen.

The Quickfee configuration screen is shown below. The new VAT Rate is shown to the lower left of the form.

If a VAT rate is defined then the VAT rate will apply to the total cost of the quickfee.
VAT Rates are configured at branch level.
For more information on configuring quickfees please refer to the original documentation.
To ensure that payment methods for quickfees can be fed from the CRS the system has been changed to accommodate this. The behavior of this is driven by the sales account configuration. (shown below), specifically the "Use Original CRS Payment type for Fee" option.

If this option is ticked : The payment method for the quick fee will follow the downloaded credit card code.
If the option is not ticked : The payment method will always be "CR" indicating credit account.
One little known concept within traveller is that fees can be attached to transactions in order to hide or bundle them under another. Currently this is used on Air transactions with a number of restrictions. When a quickfee is created the option to spawn the fee as a combined item should be ticked if this feature is required. See the screenshot in point 1, the combine fees option is to the bottom left of the screen.
In addition to this configuration 2 other options must be set in order to enable combined fees.
NOTE : Although fees are combined on client documents they will not appear combined on reports so the granularity in management reports and administration is not lost. Additionally the system can now handle multiple fees per master transaction.
RESTRICTIONS : If there is more than one AIR transaction on the booking then the quickfee will be wrapped up into the first one. If there are no AIR transactions then no combining will take place on documents. To utilise fees on documents the *LINTOT* and *TOTAL* Document Keywords must be used.
It has always been possible to download many quickfees on the CRS however the syntax has been refined to simplfy the process.
Example :
QFID-1,2,4
The above example will enter Quick fee 1,2 and 4 on the same entry. Previously it was only possible by rekeying the QFID keyword, which would make entries on Evolvi very limited.
