ATOL Text.

ATOL Text can now be changed on a per branch basis. The categories are still static but the data displayed on documents can now be configured in a similar way to document designer through the use of keywords.

To change a categories description enter the screen via File ~> System Utilities ~> ATOL Text Maintenance.

ATOLTEXTMenuOption

The screen below will be displayed : (Click on an area of the screen for a description)

ATOL Text Category

Over to the top left of the form are your ATOL Categories, each one may have a description defined by you which will appear on documents at your discretion. The placement of these on documents is covered in the document designer help pages.

Category Description

The middle area of the screen is taken by a free text edit box which contains the description of the ATOL Text category you have currently selected. Any text may be entered in this box in addition to the keywords shown in blue in the top right of the screen. This text will appear when the relevant keyword is invoked in document designer.

Keywords

Compared to document designer the number of keywords available for use on the ATOL Description area is fairly low and so they are always displayed in blue in the top right of the form. The syntax of these keywords needs to be exact, if in doubt look at an existing layout or copy and paste the item from the screen into the edit area.

Edit will unlock the description area and allow the user to change what is there. This is to prevent accidental manipulation of the contents of a description. When the edit button is clicked the form is locked into the edit state until exit or save is clicked, the save button will appear where the edit button is.

Exit

Closes the screen and returns you to the main Traveller menu. If you are in the middle of editing an item it will disregard your changes and close.
