Advantage Transaction Extract Process.

The advantage transaction extract is used to send data to Advantage for reporting purposed, sites normally opt in to the process and a signoff required before Micros|Travel will every automatically extract data from your system

Manual extracts can be done in the absence of a sign off or if hardware / software requirements on site do not meet the minimum specifications.

To start, you will need to download this software, save it on a PC which can access Traveller, and run it to install the Advantage Transaction Extract. If you are running this on a local PC and not the server a message will appear about skivvy not being found, you are safe to ignore this message. Once complete a new icon will appear on your desktop.

Using the software is very simple, select your date range, branches and click extract. When complete the "Output Folder" will contain your data. This data in an automatic setup would be e-mailed to Advantage. In a manual situation the user needs to attach this file to an e-mail and send it off.
