Correct way to change a Clerk / Consultant name or login details within Traveller.

 

If for any reason, you need to amend an existing Consultant within Traveller , PLEASE follow this process instead of simply amending the existing Consultant.

If the existing consultant is amended, any old bookings made with the existing clerk reference will simply become orphaned within the system, and will not be picked up within any Traveller or MIS reports.

 

Go to File / System Utilities / Consultant Maintenance.

The existing reference: RAM, remains within the system, but for security purposes - amend the STAFF PASSWORD to stop any other users from accessing this login.

Then click on NEW, and set up a branch new user with a different password.

If you need to report on this clerk going forward, you will then need to select both the old and the new clerk reference, to enable all bookings made by that clerk to be reported.
