Credit Card / Payment Charges

Traveller includes the ability to apply a payment charge on any type of payment you have configured in your system, most commonly this is used for applying a credit card charge.

In order to use credit card charges the following items must be set up.

1) Credit card charges must be enabled in global options.

2) A credit card charge must have been placed on a particular payment method. Note that leaving the minimum or maximum at zero will mean the system has no limit on the minumum and maximum. Normally the minimum will not descend below zero however, as seen in the above screenshot it is possible to allow this in global options.

3) Check the system works with an example payment. Note that even if the clerk reduces the example below to a value less than £2.00 that £2.00 will still be charged.

6829 allows the credit card charge to be changed at the clerks discretion.
