Due to the huge number of bookings done by many of our Evolvi users it has become necessary to segregate the downloads periodically in order to prevent Windows having difficultly opening the directory.
Evolvi files are handled in the following way from v46 of Evolvi onwards (Distributed with 6829 build 1) :
1) Files are placed into our handoff directory by Evolvi's handler.
2) Files are left for 2 minutes to ensure no conflict between our applications and Evolvi's handler.
3) After 2 minutes files are processed by EVXFER.exe, these files now appear on the download queue inside Traveller.
4) After 24 hours files are moved into subdirectory's based on Year, Month and Day. XML downloads are never deleted automatically but may be archived by a support engineer or by your own IT staff.
