Build 5 - 432: New MANUAL exchange ticket process.

**To allow clients to make one ticket an exchange of another manually**

This will work simply by allowing a user to link one ticket to
another indicating that one is an exchange of another.

It will also be possible to unlink tickets in this way. Tickets will have a 1 to 1 relationship in this way, i.e only 1 ticket can be exchanged for another – you will not be allowed to create the situation where 1 ticket is an exchange for many tickets or that many tickets are an exchange for 1 other ticket.

Exchange tickets in Traveller will have a visual indication when examined in ticket view that they have been exchanged.

Support:

\\Ramesys2k\Data\Dev\Traveller\DLLs\Winicc.exe - TravTickets.dll\v1.0.0.1+

Process:

Add a manual ticket within the transaction screen, as normal.

If an exchange ticket is then required, you will be require to add another transaction on for the 2nd ticket.

Within the TICKET VIEW screen, make sure that you have high-lighted the new ticket, then right click and go to: EXCHANGE DETAILS.

The new Define Manual Ticket Exchange screen will then feature.

New ticket details featured on the left.

Original ticket details shown on the right.

Enter the original ticket number in <Enter Number> and press SEARCH.

Click on the original ticket, listed on the right hand side of the screen, high-lighting the line in BLUE.

Then select ACCEPT, to allow the exchange to take place.

A further message will confirm, advising you that your new ticket will be exchanged for the old ticket, press YES to complete.

You are then diverted back to the ticket view screen. You will still be able to view both tickets, within this screen, but the original ticket will show the exchange ticket details in the top right hand corner, along with the EXCHANGE TICKET tick box automatically ticked.

The new ticket will feature simply look like a normal ticket.

If you require to undo the exchange ticket for whatever reason, simply:

- Go to the ticket view screen

- High light the latest ticket

- Right click and go to EXCHANGE DETAILS.

Now the 2 tickets are high lighted as LINKED = green.

Click on the original ticket on the right hand side of the screen, and click on REMOVE LINK.
