6829 build 5 - will now allow you to introduce a full authorisation process over credit card payments. The security code within the authorisation screen now allows 4 digits for American Express cards.

You will need to set this process up through Global Options / INOP0s .

And tick the 'Use credit card authorisation full' box. The folder beneath, will need to show a path to wear the data can be saved to for future reference, this would be a folder pre-set up within a local drive.

You will also be required to set the security levels, for each clerk - again within Global Options / Security Levels:

When taking payment within a client booking,once you have pressed 'OK' for the first time,there will now feature an extra message appearing in the bottom lefthand corner, confirming that the credit card charges is correct, you will then need to re-press 'OK' to confirm the payment.

Another new feature within the payment summary screen, is the Authorize Card option. Depending on your security level, you will need to click into the Authorize Cards box, to carry on the payment.

You will then have the below options, depending on how you intend to take the payment.

If you tick the 'Is the customer present', the following screen will show.

If you intend to type in the card details, you will need to tick 'Card number will be keyed in', the following screen will show.

This screen also now allows you to type in 4 digits within the CVV2 field, this is to allow American Express security codes, which have four digits to be typed in.

Confirm payments by pressing 'Check Details.'
