6829 build 5 - New Quick Refund process.

In certain instances where you are required to refund many transactions within the one consultation, normally you would have to enter each transaction and manually input a refund value, and then go to the payment entry screen to complete the refund payment.

You are now able to complete a refund for all transactions / part transactions / one transaction only, using the new QUICK REFUND process.

 

(A new TRAVCLIENT.DLL will be required to be installed by the Support Team: \\Ramesys2k\data\Dev\Traveller\DLLs\Winicc.exe - TravClient.dll\v1.0.0.6.)

 

Within a consultation, go to the PAYMENT ENTRY screen.

Right click, and go to QUICK REFUND.

A new screen will now feature.

Right click on the screen to:

- Refund - Everything within the consultation / The one line selected only.

- Reset - Revert every line back to how it was / Revert the one line selected only.

Areas in BLUE = Are set values, and cannot be altered in this screen.

Areas in WHITE = Can be adjusted in this screen.

FURTHER OPTIONS:

- tick box option to remove additional passengers.

- tick box to show quickfees before payment.

TOTALS:

- Will update the consultation, refund, commission, VAT and the amount due to the client value.

Once complete, simply press OK to confirm.

 

So in this instance, I have refunded all transactions listed, and now the Quick Refund screen has been updated, before I press OK to confirm, allowing me to check the new values.

Once the OK button is confirmed, I am then automatically directed to the PAYMENT ENTRY screen, where I will then simply complete the normal refund process.
